About GTC United

GTC United team

Our Foundation

GTC United is a faith-driven, veteran-led nonprofit organization serving military families, veterans, and communities facing hardship. Founded in response to real and urgent needs, we provide disaster response, essential resources, and compassionate care to individuals and families navigating crisis.

Our work is rooted in service, integrity, and dignity. We step in where gaps exist — during natural disasters, financial strain, or unexpected life challenges — ensuring people are supported and never made to feel alone.

Our Purpose

Life has a way of hitting hard — often without warning. Crisis doesn't discriminate, and hardship can affect anyone.

GTC United exists to stand in the gap during those moments. When life overwhelms and systems fall short, we provide immediate, holistic support — meeting people where they are without judgment, barriers, or assumptions. Our purpose is to ensure individuals and families receive compassionate, practical care when they need it most.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide holistic, faith-driven support to military families, veterans, and communities facing hardship by delivering disaster response, essential resources, and compassionate care — standing in the gap with dignity, integrity, and purpose.

We envision communities where veterans and military families are honored and supported, and where those impacted by disaster are met with immediate, holistic care — reflecting faith through action and ensuring no one stands alone in times of crisis or recovery.

Our Story

GTC United began as a grassroots response to disaster and community need. As our work grew, we encountered families facing challenges that extended beyond the immediate crisis.

Through disaster relief, military family support, holiday assistance, and essential needs outreach, one truth became clear: hardship doesn't discriminate. Families needed more than short-term relief — they needed consistent, compassionate support without judgment.

GTC United formally organized to deliver that support responsibly and sustainably. Today, our work continues through dedicated volunteers, partners, and donors committed to meeting real needs with real solutions.

A Message from Our Founder

Volunteering and serving others have always been central to my life and faith journey. I have a servant's heart, and it brings me deep joy to help others whenever I can. Founding GTC United is the fulfillment of a calling placed on my heart — to walk alongside families experiencing crisis and help create lasting, meaningful change within our community.

Finding my calling has been shaped by seasons of hardship, loss, and deep pain. Through those moments, God revealed my purpose and showed me that blessings can come from our burdens when we trust Him with our story. What once felt overwhelming became the foundation for a mission rooted in compassion, hope, and service. Through God's grace and my husband's unwavering support, this vision became a reality.

GTC United was built on the belief that help should be compassionate, dignified, and grounded in community. We are committed to providing practical support and hope where it is needed most — especially for military families and communities impacted by natural disasters. This work is never done alone; it is made possible through partnership, service, and shared purpose.

I believe we are all called to serve in some way, and there is a place for everyone within this mission. Whether you choose to give, volunteer, pray, or share our work, your involvement directly impacts families and reflects the love of Jesus Christ in meaningful ways. My heart is simply to remind people that even in life's hardest moments, hope can still rise.

We may not be able to change the world, but together, we can make a world of difference for someone.

If you feel led to join us, we welcome you.

Faith in Action

Our faith is the foundation of who we are and how we serve. We love God, and we love people — and that love guides every decision and every act of service.

While our work is faith-driven, our service is for all people. Faith informs how we serve — not who we serve. Life's hardest moments can affect anyone, and compassion should never be conditional. We do not prioritize or exclude based on background, beliefs, or circumstances. Service is always offered without judgment.

We believe all good work is done through God, and all glory belongs to Him. Through faith in action, we seek to reflect His love by serving others with humility, compassion, and integrity — meeting people where they are and walking alongside them in moments of crisis, recovery, and rebuilding.
