Supporting Flood-Affected Children
Following the July 4th Texas floods and prior to the start of the school year, GTC United hosted a Toy Drive at the local fire station, along with a full day of games and food for flood-affected families in Sandy Creek. KCEN Channel 6 documented this effort to help children cope, feel seen, and restore a sense of normalcy and safety while families focused on urgent recovery needs.

A Day of Healing and Hope
Children toured fire trucks, played games with first responders, enjoyed bounce houses, and had space to take a break from the stress of recovery. Through the generous support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, children received bicycles, educational games, books, toys, school supplies, and recreational and sporting equipment.
